De Sluis is the first sofa bed designed by Martin Visser. It consists of a flat seat and a tiltable backrest.
It is a fairly rare copy and has only been in production for 2 years (1956-1957) Replaced in 1958 by Model Nieuw Sluis and this model was replaced in 1960 by the iconic models BR02 and BR03.. This sofa bed is made with a large Birch wood drawer .I don’t no if this is a later issued ,or made in the factory.
