Very nice desklamp Called The Tumbler ”De Tuimelaar ”Produced by
Daalderop ,circa 1928 The design has been attributed to the influential
Dutch modernist W.H. Gispen
Its bell shaped shade can be positioned any way you like ,for it is counter
weighted by a heavy metal ball ,The ball is something typical for early 20th
century machine age design .Like a huge ball bearing interestingly the holder
underneath is not attached to the lamp .
