Paul Bromberg became known primarily as an interior designer and was chairman of the Amsterdam circle of the Nederlandsche Vereeniging for Craft and Craft Art. He designed, among other things, the Dutch pavilion for the World Exhibition in New York in 1939.
During the Second World War, Bromberg stayed in America, where he studied assembly construction on behalf of the government. After the liberation he returned to the Netherlands.
